Petasites frigidus var. sagittatus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari kawasan subarktik Amerika hingga Amerika Serikat utara dan barat-tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan arrowleaf sweet coltsfoot. Nama ilmiah Petasites frigidus var. sagittatus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Frederick Traugott Pursh pada tahun 1999.
