Petasites pyrenaicus merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Mediterania tengah. Nama ilmiah Petasites pyrenaicus pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Pehr Loefling pada tahun 1986.
