Petrea insignis adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Verbenaceae yang memiliki pola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Brazil (Amazonas). Nama ilmiah Petrea insignis diperkenalkan oleh Johannes Conrad Schauer pada tahun 1847.
