Petrea maynensis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Verbenaceae yang memiliki pola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Amerika selatan. Nama ilmiah Petrea maynensis diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Jacques Huber pada tahun 1906.
