Phacelia laxa merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Texas tenggara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan coastal phacelia. Nama ilmiah Phacelia laxa diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama John Kunkel Small pada tahun 1898.
