Phacelia strictiflora merupakan tumbuhan semusim dari famili Boraginaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Texas. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan prairie phacelia. Nama ilmiah Phacelia strictiflora diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Georg Engelmann pada tahun 1875.
