Phagnalon calycinum merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari Maroko. Nama ilmiah Phagnalon calycinum diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Augustin Pyramus de Candolle pada tahun 1836.
