Phalaris truncata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Mediterania. Nama ilmiah Phalaris truncata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Giovanni Gussone pada tahun 1836.
