Phanera hypochrysa merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan) yang memiliki pola tumbuh memanjat. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah China (Guangxi). Nama ilmiah Phanera hypochrysa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Tê Chao Chen pada tahun 2014.
