Phegopteris cruciata merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Aspleniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di kawasan tropis Afrika, Samudera Hindia bagian barat. Nama ilmiah Phegopteris cruciata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Ludwig von Willdenow pada tahun 1868.
