Philadelphus subcanus var. magdalenae merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Hydrangeaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah China (Sichuan, Hubei). Nama ilmiah Philadelphus subcanus var. magdalenae pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Bernhard Adalbert Emil Koehne pada tahun 1955.
