Philodendron brasiliense merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Araceae (suku talas-talasan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di wilayah Brazil tenggara. Nama ilmiah Philodendron brasiliense pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Heinrich Gustav Adolf Engler pada tahun 1878.
