Phlogacanthus brevis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Semenanjung Malaysia. Nama ilmiah Phlogacanthus brevis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Charles Baron Clarke pada tahun 1908.
