Phlogacanthus gomezii merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Assam hingga Myanmar. Nama ilmiah Phlogacanthus gomezii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Christian Gottfried Daniel Nees von Esenbeck pada tahun 1994.
