Phlogacanthus pubinervius merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Acanthaceae (suku jeruju-jerujuan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Himalaya tengah hingga China (Yunnan, Guizhou, Guangxi) dan Myanmar. Nama ilmiah Phlogacanthus pubinervius diperkenalkan oleh Thomas Anderson pada tahun 1867.
