Phlomoides acaulis merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Asia tengah hingga Afghanistan dan Himalaya barat. Nama ilmiah Phlomoides acaulis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Günther Beck von Mannagetta und Lerchenau pada tahun 2012.
