Phlomoides rotala merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Lamiaceae (suku nilam-nilaman). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Asia tengah. Nama ilmiah Phlomoides rotala pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Alexander Gustav von Schrenk pada tahun 2012.
