Phlox hirsuta merupakan tumbuhan perdu kecil dari famili Polemoniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah California utara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan yreka phlox. Nama ilmiah Phlox hirsuta pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Elias Emanuel Nelson pada tahun 1899.
