Phlox hoodii subsp. canescens adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Polemoniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kanada barat hingga Amerika Serikat bagian barat. Nama ilmiah Phlox hoodii subsp. canescens pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Torrey pada tahun 1938.
