Phlox idahonis merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Polemoniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Idaho utara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan clearwater phlox. Nama ilmiah Phlox idahonis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Edgar Theodore Wherry pada tahun 1941.
