Phlox pilosa subsp. detonsa adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Polemoniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Amerika Serikat bagian tenggara hingga Texas. Nama ilmiah Phlox pilosa subsp. detonsa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Asa Gray pada tahun 1956.
