Phlox pilosa subsp. fulgida adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan menahun dari famili Polemoniaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kanada bagian timur-tengah hingga Amerika Serikat bagian timur-tengah. Nama ilmiah Phlox pilosa subsp. fulgida pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Edgar Theodore Wherry pada tahun 1956.
