Phoebe elliptica adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lauraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Semenanjung Malaysia, Jawa Barat. Di Indonesia tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan nama huru dapung, huru huya, atau huru leksa (Sunda). Nama ilmiah Phoebe elliptica pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Ludwig Blume pada tahun 1851.
