Phoebe motuonan merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Lauraceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Tibet tenggara. Nama ilmiah Phoebe motuonan diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Shu Kang Lee pada tahun 1979.
