Pholidostachys occidentalis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Arecaceae (suku pinang-pinangan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Kolombia barat hingga Ekuador. Nama ilmiah Pholidostachys occidentalis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Andrew Henderson pada tahun 2012.
