Phragmanthera cornetii merupakan tumbuhan hemiparasit dari famili Loranthaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan tumbuh menempel pada batang pohon lain (epifit). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Tanzania selatan hingga kawasan tropis Afrika bagian selatan. Nama ilmiah Phragmanthera cornetii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Alfred Aloys Dewèvre pada tahun 1992.
