Phreatia platychila merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Orchidaceae (suku anggrek-anggrekan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Papua New Guinea. Nama ilmiah Phreatia platychila diperkenalkan oleh Friedrich Wilhelm Ludwig Kraenzlin pada tahun 1905.
