Phreatia scandens merupakan tumbuhan epifit dari famili Orchidaceae (suku anggrek-anggrekan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Papua. Nama ilmiah Phreatia scandens diperkenalkan oleh Johannes Jacobus Smith pada tahun 1911.
