Phyla nodiflora var. reptans merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Verbenaceae yang tumbuh dalam bentuk perdu kecil atau semak. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di kawasan tropis dan subtropis Amerika . Nama ilmiah Phyla nodiflora var. reptans pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Sigismund Kunth pada tahun 1934.
