Phyllagathis maxwellii merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Melastomataceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Semenanjung Malaysia. Nama ilmiah Phyllagathis maxwellii pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Benjamin Clemens Stone pada tahun 1987.
