Phyllagathis setotheca merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Melastomataceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari wilayah sepanjang China (Guangdong, Guangxi), hingga Vietnam. Nama ilmiah Phyllagathis setotheca pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Hui-lin Li pada tahun 1944.
