Phyllanthus australis merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Phyllanthaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Australia tenggara. Nama ilmiah Phyllanthus australis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Joseph Dalton Hooker pada tahun 1847.
