Phyllanthus liebmannianus subsp. platylepis merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Phyllanthaceae. Spesies ini memiliki kebiasaan membentuk rimpang atau stolon. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Florida barat laut. Nama ilmiah Phyllanthus liebmannianus subsp. platylepis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis John Kunkel Small pada tahun 1970.
