Phyllanthus niruri subsp. lathyroides adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu kecil dari famili Phyllanthaceae yang memiliki siklus hidup semusim (annual). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis kering di kawasan tropis dan subtropis Amerika . Nama ilmiah Phyllanthus niruri subsp. lathyroides pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Carl Sigismund Kunth pada tahun 1955.
