SMARTWEED LEAF-FLOWE Phyllanthuspolygonoides Nutt. ex Spreng.
Phyllanthus polygonoides merupakan tumbuhan menahun dari famili Phyllanthaceae yang tumbuh dalam bentuk perdu kecil atau semak. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Missouri barat daya hingga New Mexico tenggara dan Meksiko utara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan smartweed leaf-flower. Nama ilmiah Phyllanthus polygonoides diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Thomas Nuttall pada tahun 1826.
