Phyllanthus rotundifolius adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu kecil dari famili Phyllanthaceae yang memiliki siklus hidup semusim (annual). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis atau subtropis dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Cape Verde, kawasan tropis Afrika, Jazirah Arab, Pakistan hingga Sri Lanka. Nama ilmiah Phyllanthus rotundifolius mulai dipublikasikan pada tahun 1805.
