Phyllanthus ruber merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Phyllanthaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah di wilayah Hainan selatan, Vietnam. Nama ilmiah Phyllanthus ruber diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama João de Loureiro pada tahun 1826.
