Phyllanthus spinosus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan berbentuk perdu dari famili Phyllanthaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Somalia. Nama ilmiah Phyllanthus spinosus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Emilio Chiovenda pada tahun 1929.
