Phyllanthus stipulatus adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan semak dari famili Phyllanthaceae yang dapat tumbuh di media tergenang air (helofit). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Meksiko hingga kawasan tropis Amerika. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan stipulate leaf-flower. Nama ilmiah Phyllanthus stipulatus diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Constantine Samuel Rafinesque pada tahun 1955.
