Phyllobotryon spathulatum merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Salicaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Nigeria selatan hingga kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat-tengah. Nama ilmiah Phyllobotryon spathulatum pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Johannes Müller Argoviensis pada tahun 1864.
