Phyllocosmus congolensis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk perdu atau pohon dari famili Ixonanthaceae. Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim tropis basah dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari kawasan tropis Afrika bagian barat-tengah hingga Angola. Nama ilmiah Phyllocosmus congolensis pertama kali dipublikasikan pada tahun 1909.
