Phyllostachys heteroclada merupakan tumbuhan bambu dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah China tengah dan selatan. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan fishscale bamboo. Nama ilmiah Phyllostachys heteroclada pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Daniel Oliver pada tahun 1894.
