BLACK BAMBOO Phyllostachysnigra (Lodd. ex Lindl.) Munro
Phyllostachys nigra adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan bambu dari famili Poaceae (suku rumput-rumputan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah China (Guizhou, Hunan selatan). Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan black bamboo. Nama ilmiah Phyllostachys nigra diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Joachim Conrad Loddiges pada tahun 1868.
