Phyllota squarrosa merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Fabaceae (suku polong-polongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah New South Wales timur. Nama ilmiah Phyllota squarrosa pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Franz Sieber pada tahun 1837.
