Physalis lanceolata adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Solanaceae (suku terong-terongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Meksiko utara. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan sword groundcherry. Nama ilmiah Physalis lanceolata pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis André Michaux pada tahun 1803.
