Physalis muelleri adalah salah satu spesies tumbuhan dari famili Solanaceae (suku terong-terongan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma gurun pasir atau sabana kering di wilayah Meksiko (Coahuila, Nuevo León). Nama ilmiah Physalis muelleri mulai dipublikasikan pada tahun 1967.
