Picea koyamae merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Pinaceae (suku pinus-pinusan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Jepang tengah (Pegunungan Yatsugadake). Nama ilmiah Picea koyamae diperkenalkan oleh Yasuyoshi (Miho or Homi) Shirasawa pada tahun 1913.
