Picea orientalis merupakan tumbuhan berbentuk pohon dari famili Pinaceae (suku pinus-pinusan). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang dengan rentang sebaran mulai dari Türkiye utara hingga Kaukasia. Nama ilmiah Picea orientalis pertama kali dipublikasikan oleh botanis Wilhelm Ludwig Petermann pada tahun 1844.
