Picradeniopsis oppositifolia merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim sedang di wilayah Amerika Serikat bagian barat-tengah dan tengah. Dalam bahasa Inggris tumbuhan ini dikenal dengan sebutan oppositeleaf bahia. Nama ilmiah Picradeniopsis oppositifolia diperkenalkan oleh seorang botanis bernama Thomas Nuttall pada tahun 1901.
