Picris cyrenaica merupakan tumbuhan dari famili Asteraceae (suku aster-asteran). Tumbuhan ini berasal dari bioma beriklim subtropis di wilayah Libya. Nama ilmiah Picris cyrenaica diperkenalkan oleh Renato Pampanini pada tahun 1975.
